CTCBA Lunch & Learn Educational Events

Our lunch and learn events have become the top benefit to becoming a CTCBA member.  Your membership will give you access to total rewards or compensation related webinar events for a nominal cost. CTCBA strives to host trending relevent educational events every other month. At the minimum, you will receive access to at least six educational events a year. At best, you will have an opportunity to grow your network by joining CTCBA.

We bring in subject matter experts with information that you can take back to your own employers or organization. Occasionally, we will host in-person educational events in where you will have opportunities to network with others working in the HR, benefits and compensation profession. Either way, our events are SHRM and HRCI certified.

The 2024 Texas Total Rewards Conference is in San Antonio on August 11th-13th, 2024 at the Embassy Suites Riverwalk

The Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation gives you an edge in today’s competitive world signifying that you are an expert in your field. It gives you, and your employer, confidence in your job skills. The CCP designation demonstrates you possess essential knowledge about integrating compensation programs with business strategy, designing and administering base and variable pay programs, complying with legal and regulatory requirements, and effectively communicating compensation information.

The Certified Benefits Professional® (CBP) is our benefits certification that is widely recognized in the HR and total rewards communities. It demonstrates your knowledge and skills in strategy development, design and administration of U.S. employee benefits programs. This certification will empower you to develop benefits programs and integrate them with business strategy to positively impact employee engagement and retention. The CBP is a designation for entry- to mid-level HR professionals achieved by passing a series of 7 exams that test your skills and knowledge. WorldatWork delivers corresponding preparation courses to better prepare you for the examinations.

The CBP will establish your excellence and acumen as an HR benefits professional.
