Ian Shanks began his sales professional career in the financial regulatory environment, he then moved into helping SMB’s gain and retain top talent through a full-service HR platform. During those 10+ years of working for Lexis Nexis and TriNet he found the passion to help professionals achieve efficiencies and growth goals. This was based on his wide variety of personal and professional relationships that were spawned out of knowledge in a highly saturated space. He defined his expertise by becoming a connector for all, not just for his self-interests. Sales and business development is his title, although he feels being a consultant is how he created his brand that led to his many success’s allowing his fruits of labor to be recognized. All in all he credits his strong Irish upbringing, although he cannot deny his time at Saint Edwards University played an immense factor in his calculated decisions in life.
Being a native of Austin, Texas his wife and two dogs love exploring the U.S. in their RV. When not travelling the open roads Ian has a deep passion for snow skiing and surfing all over the world (yes, a Texan learned to surf on the Texas Coasts).
