Stephanie Beach is a Principal and Senior Actuarial Consultant in Mercer’s Employee Health & Benefits business in Austin. She has over 18 years of experience helping clients in multiple industries develop strategic health and welfare benefit plan objectives that tie with their overall business objectives. Her areas of focus include financial analysis, pricing and contribution strategies; design strategy and optimization; Health Care Reform impact modeling and scenario planning; retiree medical strategy; and vendor accountability. Stephanie was recently involved with evaluation of private exchange viability and transitioning benefits to a private exchange platform.
Prior to joining Mercer, Stephanie was a senior consultant at Towers Watson. Stephanie has a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin and an M.A. from the University of Texas. She is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
