CTCBA is excited to host a legal educational event on Thursday, March 21st, 2024, from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm featuring Sarah Glaser, Chair Employment Practice Group, Lloyd Gosselink Rochelle & Townsend, P.C. This presentation will provide legal updates relevant to Human Resources professionals to assist with staying abreast of recent changes and preparing for potential changes in the law. Ms. Glaser will discuss the legal updates from the perspective of employer’s counsel and provide practical guidance on policy changes and proactive training or audits related to legal changes.

Join us at Fleming's Steakhouse at The Domain for CTCBA’s Lunch & Learn series for an overview of three to five employment law hot topics, focusing on recent legislative changes and predictions for upcoming developments.

Sarah Glaser

Ms. Sarah Glaser heads up Lloyd Gosselink’s employment law practice group and specializes in assisting with employment law compliance. Sarah’s goal is always the same – to help her business and governmental entity clients comply with the law, treat their employees fairly, and stay off the witness stand. Sarah prides herself on providing efficient and cost-effective representation rooted in an understanding of the business. When necessary, Sarah defends employers before governmental agencies like the EEOC and DOL and when they are sued in state or federal court.

Sarah has been named a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star and a Top Austin Attorney by Austin Monthly Magazine in Labor and Employment categories for several years running. Additionally, Sarah enjoys getting involved with local HR groups and serves as Austin SHRM’s Legal & Legislative director, and as a Legal & Legislative co-director for Texas SHRM state council.

Sarah has long believed that it is important to love your job, enjoy your colleagues, and give back to your community. To that end, she has served as President of the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Association, Chair of the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Foundation, and is a barrister in the Robert W. Calvert Inn of Court.
