Shauna Bryngelson, CPDM

Principle

Mercer will be presenting on a variety of topics such as the ever changing legislative leave landscape, the impact on time away programs, and employer response/best practices.  The participants will walk away with a better understanding of how to evaluate their own programs for compliance and the best way to adapt their programs as needed.

Shauna is a Senior Principal at Mercer in the National Life, Absence and Disability (LAD) specialty practice based in Denver, Colorado. Shauna is the West Practice Leader for Mercer’s LAD consulting team. She has over twenty years of experience in the health and productivity fields. Her diverse skills range from absence, disability and life program design, program implementation, operational improvements, vendor performance management, and successful and sustainable marketing and renewals. She works closely with her clients to understand their objectives and deliver results based on those goals. She has worked with Fortune 500 clients, varied industries such as call centers, manufacturing, oil & gas, retail, hi-tech, mining, healthcare, education, financial services and many more. Her expertise helps employers deliver absence and disability programs that exceed both operational and financial expectations.

Her team has extensive experience in helping clients develop strategies in the areas of paid and unpaid time-off, statutory and local leave laws, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Life/AD&D insurance.

Prior to joining Mercer in 2016, Shauna was President of Peer Review and IME/FFD that was supported by a national network of Physicians. She has also held key leadership roles at a national absence and disability third party administrator, as well as, another consulting firm.
