Benefits Administrator

We are looking for a high energy, experienced Benefits Administrator to be responsible for our benefits programs.The Benefits Administrator will manage our self-funded medical and dental plans, prepare a self-administered life and disability billing program, and perform all administrative work involved in the benefit functions as well as maintain relevant records.All while providing cheerful customer service to our employees and vendors.

As our Benefits Administrator you will:

·Carry out responsibilities in benefits, administering and advising employees and management on the interpretation of benefit policies, programs and procedures.

·Assess and give advice to employees, supervisors and managers on methods and approaches for resolving benefit problems.

·Perform administrative work involved in the benefit functions and maintain related records.

·Ensure programs are carried out in accordance with our policies and procedures.

·Work close with our broker and third-party administrators for our health and wellness programs.

·Prepare funding reports and audit for accuracy against invoices.

·Manage leaves of absences and track FMLA.

Preferred Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources or related field (may consider experience in lieu of degree)

·5+ years of benefits administration experience

·Strong problem solving and analytical skills

·Ability to learn quickly

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

·Initiative - When you see a problem or area that needs improvement, bring it forward!

·Collaboration – team mindset vs individual

·A data driven mindset - You never make a decision without reviewing reports, and analyzing data so that you can determine the best way to proceed
