    Leads the design, assessment, implementation and/or administration of total compensation programs, practices and policies. Ensures alignment with the total rewards philosophy and HR strategy. Provides guidance and solutions (Executive and/or Non-Executive) covering a wide range of compensation areas including salary structure, base pay administration, short-term and long-term incentive pay administration, and salary guidance. Partners with HR Business Partners regarding administration and management of compensation programs.

    Job Requirements

    o    Experience making recommendations for process and incentive plan effectiveness improvements

    o    Leadership with strong communications (verbal & written) with all levels to include executive management, peers and co-workers. 

    o    Solid interpersonal skills and ability to form strong business partnerships

    General Statement of Job

    To serve as a member of the Compensation Team supporting the ACC Classification and Compensation system and processes.

    Description of Duties and Tasks

    Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Works with the analysts on salary placements, job offers, scheduling, and follow up communications.
    2. Assists with salary research; verifies data and information.
    3. Performs mathematical computations for compensation reports, salary surveys, projects and processes.
    4. Compiles and generates reports.
    5. Answers inquiries regarding compensation issues; composes and edits correspondence as required.
    6. Maintains and updates the Compensation Information Manual and other compensation materials.
    7. Maintains the job description database and various compensation logs and files.
    8. Processes offer letters, temporary assignment pay recommendations and other compensation-related actions.
    9. Updates the HR Compensation website, as required.
    10. May assist with training sessions regarding compensation procedures, policies, and processes.

    ACC Benefits Overview

    The Senior Benefits Manager role at Filtration Group’s corporate office is both a hands-on and strategic role that provides leadership and support to key Benefits projects. The role combines HR knowledge with Benefits and HR Operations expertise to manage projects from original concept through successful change management and final implementation. The HR and Benefits role is responsible for all aspects of the company’s health and welfare benefit plans, voluntary benefits, and wellness programs. This position interfaces with third party vendors, the HR Business Partners, Payroll, and other internal departments to provide analysis for all benefits programs in support of company goals and initiatives.   The role will manage benefits vendors and acts as the liaison between vendors and plan participants when necessary.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Identify and drive process improvements and proactively refine the overall operations of benefits
    • Manage the administration of all U.S benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts and other employee incentive benefit programs.
    • Facilitate annual enrollment process and communications, including implementation of recommended benefit plan and vendor changes
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations that impact benefit plans
    • Ability to organize information required for all nondiscrimination testing, 5500 preparation, SARs, Audits, etc.
    • Perform plan audits, required tax filings, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations that impact benefit plans
    • Preparation of creative benefit communications to enhance understanding and utilization of benefit programs (Total Rewards, Wellness)
    • Work closely with payroll to ensure benefit deductions and pay leaves are processed accurately
    • Responsible for maintaining and ensuring data integrity between HRIS system (ADP Vantage) and all carriers integrations
    • Uses broad knowledge of HR to lead teams to approach a project in a manner that results in a cohesive and integrated solution. Strong HR background is a must.
    • Creates HR project plan outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, dependencies, resource requirements, and timelines
    • Develops project plans in collaboration with stakeholders to execute strategic HR initiatives, distributes work among team members (including self, this role will also execute project deliverables), sets expectations, and drives to deliver projects with excellence, on time and on budget
    • Owns major end-to-end processes and events on a project, takes initiative, and uses problem solving skills to think beyond the task to the outcome that needs to be achieved
    • Independently gathers information from a variety of sources; to analyze, interpret, and summarize data gathered, and to deliver insights
    • Creates comprehensive and effective change management and communication strategies to mitigate risk and ensure project success
    • Establishes collaborative partnerships and consults with key business stakeholders and HR team members

     Requirements / Experience / Skills

    • B.A./B.S. in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. Master’s degree in Human Resources desired.
    • Minimum 7 years of corporate HR and benefits accounting and administration experience
    • Knowledge of ERISA, HIPPA, IRS Regulations
    • Skilled at researching, and analyzing data
    • Outstanding ability to manage relationships and balance customer, project, organization, and team needs to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
    • Excellent consultative skills and ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences, including senior organizational leaders
    • Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
    • Must be able to develop and clearly and concisely present a professional product to multiple levels of management
    • Must be well organized, able to prioritize work, manage time effectively, and follow through on commitments
    • Experience in effective change management techniques and implementation, an HRIS, a plus
